The ball had pretty good speed, but Clodoveo Rufo firmly grabbed it by the left post. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Serafin Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Caitano in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Isauro to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Caitano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Eutor kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Despite this Clodoveo Rufo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55thth minute of the game Juan Manuel Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santhiagos Feli Club's Clodoveo Rufo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Clodoveo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Tximitx ran back to his position shaking his head. Clodoveo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tximitx in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Santhiagos Feli Club defense, Nemesio Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Rufo. The Santhiagos Feli Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Rufo should have stopped the shot.
