Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Éric Cantona took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Ziombkowski came free, but Waldir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Barragan in the 10th minute of play. Waldir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Ziombkowski in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Valhalla Time's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Ziombkowski came free, but Waldir Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Éric Cantona. But to his dismay, Éric Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 25th minute, Éric Cantona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 30 minutes into the game, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Humberto Barragan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Valhalla Time getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Amaury Hulsen hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Humberto Barragan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Éric Cantona in the 45th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valhalla Time's zone, Humberto Barragan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir Gaúcho came out of the goal and Humberto Barragan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zé Pedro Baptista was substituted for Humberto Barragan. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valhalla Time's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saffet Ataergin was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Guayaquil FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Inter de Guayaquil FC's Xzavier Palomarez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valhalla Time's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Jörn Svartengren took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Waldir Gaúcho to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Valhalla Time's Waldir Gaúcho got control of the ball when Jörn Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valhalla Time's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Waldir Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren. But to his dismay, Jörn Svartengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Jörn Svartengrens short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Waldir Gaúcho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Hitz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Svartengren got free with Waldir Gaúcho in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Valhalla Time defense, Jörn Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Gaúcho. The Valhalla Time fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. During the 94th minute of the match Ezequiel Hitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ezequiel Hitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Valhalla Time's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Jörn Svartengren scored to the left of an out of position Waldir Gaúcho, making the score, 0-7. Inter de Guayaquil FC played a much better game than Valhalla Time and deserved their victory. The Valhalla Time players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
