Oliver Bierhoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ata Necmi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Bierhoff kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ata Necmi. That made the score 0-5 in the 56 minute of play. Pompiliu Trişcu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. ADM Taquaras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
