Jacob Alavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerxes Doro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Alavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerim Altunbaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Peter having to make a save. With a little luck, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter got control of the ball when Kerim Altunbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Peter came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciruel Academy's Kerim Altunbaş. But to his dismay, Kerim Altunbaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Ciruel Academy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Toma Ron hit a great ball. Jacob Alavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 21st minute of play. Julio Roca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Kerim Altunbaş came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciruel Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Roca in the 27th minute. Jacob Alavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xerxes Doro in the 28th minute of play. Kerim Altunbaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Peter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerim Altunbaş ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Xerxes Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Altunbaş in the 36th minute of play. Jacob Alavedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blagoy Doro in the 37th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Kerim Altunbaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerim Altunbaş. Mugur Bejan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerim Altunbaş to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Hănescu. In the 54th minute of the match Julio Roca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Peter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Kerim Altunbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ciruel Academy booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaba Li missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Flavio Peter right hand side. With 73 minutes on the clock, Mădălin Geamănu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd match minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Geamănu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaba Li in the 75th minute of play forced Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalkeeper Flavio Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Saliba came free, but Flavio Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
