Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Ishmael in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murathan Saygur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Murathan Saygur came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Iordache Bugariu. But to his dismay, Iordache Bugariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Niksarspor's Battal Cüneyt Birhan got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Niksarspor defense, Gaspar Ishmael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murathan Saygur. The Niksarspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murathan Saygur should have stopped the shot. 5-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Iordache Bugariu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Niksarspor's Battal Cüneyt Birhan got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Karl-Michael Lindqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murathan Saygur was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Murathan Saygur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Beniuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Gaspar Ishmael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niksarspor's Murathan Saygur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FORTUNA ARTEMIS BRASOV's Mircea Boerescu in 90 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Murathan Saygur guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Murathan Saygur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mircea Boerescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
