Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Schiau got the match started through his kick off. NFC Eagles 22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ted Jansen in the 6th minute. Ted Jansen made a great header on NFC Eagles 22's corner, it was just that New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra managed to reach the ball for a save. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by NFC Eagles 22's Raymond Schouten. But to his dismay, Raymond Schouten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when 盛世 高文竞 got free with Eduardo Pereyra in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra got control of the ball when 盛世 高文竞 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when George Schiau came free, but Ciccio Tacconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 盛世 高文竞 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Maxim Tadici fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New York Red Bulls's protests and gave Maxim Tadici a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when New York Red Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Tadici didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Tacconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Panduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New York Red Bulls fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when New York Red Bulls's Basarab Panduru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, New York Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Houwing came free, but Eduardo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basarab Panduru during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in New York Red Bulls's zone, Jaap Zuidam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pereyra came out of the goal and Jaap Zuidam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 盛世 高文竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Eduardo Pereyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Panduru in the 37th minute of play forced NFC Eagles 22's goalkeeper Ciccio Tacconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dong Hong Jian kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 盛世 高文竞 in the 43rd minute of play forced New York Red Bulls's goalkeeper Eduardo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 盛世 高文竞 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute Basarab Panduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciccio Tacconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Schiau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ciccio Tacconi made a huge save. In the 76th minute Raymond Schouten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Raymond Schouten notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of New York Red Bulls's Eduardo Pereyra. Eduardo Pereyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. NFC Eagles 22 made a substitution. Jeroen Heerckes replaced Emil Houwing. After 82 minutes of play, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
