Eduardo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅宇烨, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, 沈岩诚 made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Pereyra. New York Red Bulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 麦卫志 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toro Díaz in the 17th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 梅宇烨 to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Toro Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 麦卫志 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score was now 2-4. 90 minutes into the match, Toro Díaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 麦卫志, 2-5. New York Red Bulls played a much better game than ◇Mz.梦◆〓风神〓甘肃天水骑兵代表队 and deserved their victory. The ◇Mz.梦◆〓风神〓甘肃天水骑兵代表队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
