Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prosper Vandamme in the 8th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Prosper Vandamme made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zdzislaw Biraga came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the 1909 Tarnovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Biraga couldn't finish the play. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prosper Vandamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Zdzislaw Biraga made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Courtois. Tabachana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Tabachana F.C.'s Lambis Savvakis got a free kick in the 19th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Jerzy Grocholski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Thibaut Courtois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Vandamme in the 39th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Prosper Vandamme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Tabachana F.C. defense, Zdzislaw Biraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Courtois. The Tabachana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Courtois should have stopped the shot. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Hetman in the 46th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çağan Serol in the 48th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 49th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vassilis Tournas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of 1909 Tarnovia booed when Tabachana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Notis Trachanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Prosper Vandamme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaut Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 70th minute Jerzy Grocholski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Jerzy Grocholski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thibaut Courtois. Jerzy Grocholski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Grocholski in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Prosper Vandamme notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois. Thibaut Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakub Gondela who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Thibaut Courtois when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 1909 Tarnovia were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Tabachana F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zenon Hetman took the corner. 96 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Grocholski came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Tabachana F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1909 Tarnovia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
