Vassilis Lazarakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 高文川 having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Lazarakis came free, but 高文川 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Stockdale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ferris in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEK ARMY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Owen Gallagher was slow to take the kick. During this time Jardim América FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jardim América FC's corner Owen Gallagher fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Stockdale quite easily take care of the ball. David Stockdale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Ferris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spyros Paterakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Agostinho Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jardim América FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The throw-in from Spyros Paterakis in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jardim América FC's Luís Fernando Rossi. The audience was convinced that Vassilis Lazarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 高文川 was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. David Stockdale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agostinho Bittencourt in the 37th minute. Jardim América FC's attack was well implemented in the 37th minute, but when Agostinho Bittencourt was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. GREEK ARMY's David Stockdale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save GREEK ARMY from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Ferris was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Bittencourt came free, but David Stockdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jardim América FC's Téo Cruz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jardim América FC made a substitution. Richard Vargas replaced Téo Cruz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Bittencourt in the 59th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper David Stockdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GREEK ARMY's David Stockdale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ferris in the 61st minute of play. Lewis Hamilton hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Kazantzakoglou. David Stockdale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Ferris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Sofoklis Kolomitrousis. 74 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Bittencourt came free, but David Stockdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Stockdale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agostinho Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by GREEK ARMY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Owen Gallagher was slow to take the kick. During this time Jardim América FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jardim América FC's Owen Gallagher to fire away a dangerous shot which David Stockdale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 高文川 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Lazarakis in the 81st minute of play. Aníbal Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aníbal Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GREEK ARMY booed when Jardim América FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vassilis Lazarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. 高文川 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Bittencourt in the 89th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper David Stockdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Bittencourt came free, but David Stockdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Jardim América FC's Agostinho Bittencourt made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Stockdale was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute Agostinho Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stockdale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardim América FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
