Vlassis Mellios was slow to take the kick. During this time GREEK ARMY's players had a chance to rest. After 9 minutes Jardim América FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vlassis Mellios who took care of the corner kick. GREEK ARMY's Vlassis Mellios was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 高文川 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 12 minutes GREEK ARMY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Owen Gallagher who took care of the corner kick. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vassilis Lazarakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but 高文川 made a huge save. After 20 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Kazantzakoglou. Styrbjörn Stokken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Jardim América FC got a freekick which was hit by Owen Gallagher. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Bittencourt in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes, Jardim América FC's Owen Gallagher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jardim América FC reached it. 35 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Bittencourt came free, but Styrbjörn Stokken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's goalkeeper 高文川 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lambis Kazantzakoglou. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ferris in the 39th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Vlassis Mellios threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jardim América FC's Luís Fernando Rossi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aris Skilas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aris Skilas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aris Skilas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vassilis Lazarakis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Vassilis Lazarakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim América FC's 高文川 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agostinho Bittencourt got free with Styrbjörn Stokken in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agostinho Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Styrbjörn Stokken having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Vlassis Mellios got a free kick in the 66th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ferris in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Vassilis Lazarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafa Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Styrbjörn Stokken. That made the score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. Jardim América FC's Aníbal Abraão was substituted for Luís Fernando Rossi. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Alves in the 82nd minute of the match. 高文川 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Lazarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardim América FC played a much better game than GREEK ARMY and deserved their victory. The GREEK ARMY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
