Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tantan Sundoro in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weather Piedrahita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mandra Suherman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 16 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Zuazna. After 20 played minutes Limus Nunggal got a freekick which was hit by Farid Ohee. If Florencio Herbella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Florencio Herbella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mandra Suherman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atletico Maturrango booed when Limus Nunggal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tantan Sundoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Tantan Sundoro came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Limus Nunggal's corner Asep Gustomi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Weather Piedrahita quite easily take care of the ball. If Florencio Herbella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Weather Piedrahita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asep Gustomi went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

61 minutes into the match, Tantan Sundoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Weather Piedrahita. Atletico Maturrango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tantan Sundoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Lucas Sardaneta came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Atletico Maturrango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Sardaneta couldn't finish the play. Weather Piedrahita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tantan Sundoro in the 72nd minute. When Marcial Zuazna fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Maturrango's protests and gave Marcial Zuazna a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Atletico Maturrango got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Zuazna. Marcial Zuazna kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Ederono Ojero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mandra Suherman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Hans Hartono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Ohee in the 95th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
