In the 3rd minute, Filip Buculeasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Di Scord was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 7th minute of the match Lobster if got a corner. POLI TIMISOARA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Helge Trillkott ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 9th minute, Mei Yi Xi made a precise shot to the right of Di Scord. Lobster if's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mujahid Lim to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes, Hans Asklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobster if and the POLI TIMISOARA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of POLI TIMISOARA booed when Lobster if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Asklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță got control of the ball when Mujahid Lim tried to sneak it across the goal line. POLI TIMISOARA's Filip Buculeasa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 23rd minute of play forced Lobster if's goalkeeper Di Scord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mei Yi Xi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Scord having to interfere. POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The POLI TIMISOARA fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mihai Domuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Överman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mujahid Lim was the one to do the kick off. Sune Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mihai Domuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Di Scord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Yi Xi in the 53rd minute of the match. Di Scord was a little too slow when Cosmin Harbuz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-4. A hard shot 58 in the game by Mei Yi Xi from a close distance when the talented Di Scord managed to make a qualified save. Lobster if's players were relieved. In the 60th minute Mujahid Lim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Domuță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Di Scord made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 66 minutes into the game, one of Lobster if:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Di Scord, was totally fooled by POLI TIMISOARA's Jarbas Prestes, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 71 minutes, Jarbas Prestes made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Lobster if's Di Scord tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes, Jarbas Prestes made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Lobster if's Di Scord tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Prestes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lobster if's keeper Di Scord was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Jarbas Prestes had several of the Lobster if's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Di Scord as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nicu Nichitelea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Di Scord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sune Överman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobster if's supporters rose to their feet, but Sune Överman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihai Domuță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over POLI TIMISOARA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lobster if throughout the match.
