Lokomotiv Plovdiv's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélder Lago in the 22nd minute. Teodoro Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Obuchowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zdzislaw Obuchowicz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Facundo Nazario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Jeraldo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Krum Nikolchov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antim Drashanski in the 29th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lautaro Martine made a kick off. Everardo Cresitobalo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Krum Nikolchov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Martine in the 54th minute of play. Barsa FC's Işıkalp Zaik was substituted for Norberto Estevon. Luisito Gar made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Yulian Florov. With an all-out effort, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Teodoro Jeraldo threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zdzislaw Obuchowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Teodoro Jeraldo managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mirolyub Dragoychev kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Barsa FC's Teodoro Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Brask in the 75th minute of play. Krum Nikolchov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antim Drashanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antim Drashanski in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krum Nikolchov saved Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Antim Drashanski came free, but Krum Nikolchov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antim Drashanski in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krum Nikolchov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trifon Patrikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Everardo Cresitobalo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krum Nikolchov skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Işıkalp Zaik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krum Nikolchov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavyan Zanev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
