Richard Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Agustin Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Perrando in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Antonio Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Orion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newpi Academy's Richard Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Marino in the 18th minute of play. Richard Textex made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Gartzi in the 19th minute. Wulf Köllner charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wulf Köllner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Wulf Köllner. In the 23rd minute, Salvador Ermengol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dante Marino came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Llavallol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Marino couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Ermengol. Abel Paixãos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Richard Textex to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Richard Textex took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 56th minute of the match Llavallol FC got a corner. Newpi Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Marino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Newpi Academy's goalie and right to Abel Paixão. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Newpi Academy's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Agustin Orion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Perrando in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Delmiro Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Newpi Academy made a substitution. Guaberto Efren replaced Ion Hidiș. Delmiro Gartzi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Newpi Academy's Eulalio Otsando got a free kick in the 67th minute. Abel Paixão hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Eulalio Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Agustin Orion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Alberto Tonete recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agustin Orion. Alberto Tonete showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tonete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 78 minutes on the clock, Nereo Min commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Llavallol FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Eulalio Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Newpi Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Perrando to maneuver through the defense. Richard Textex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Llavallol FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Newpi Academy's performance. The match ended with a win for Newpi Academy.
