The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulf Lundblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Nicolas Whitmore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nedko Tzokev's late challenge caught a -BZF- Ursus Magura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nedko Tzokev helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nedko Tzokev hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Nicolas Whitmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Rolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Espen Lyngsby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Vergulescu in the 31st minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Mihăiţă Vergulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Plan B's Ismael Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Stipe during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, Michael Stipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Mihăiţă Vergulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Vergulescu in the 44th minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Nicolas Whitmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half -BZF- Ursus Magura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nicolas Whitmores short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Ismael Negri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mihăiţă Vergulescu in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael Negri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Nicolas Whitmore came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the -BZF- Ursus Magura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Whitmore couldn't finish the play. -BZF- Ursus Magura made a substitution. Aron Pantiș replaced Edvin Tinglöv. -BZF- Ursus Magura's Aurel Bălăiță was substituted for Iwan Pusiak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Whitmore in the 65th minute of play forced Plan B's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihăiţă Vergulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 72 minutes, Stig-Ove Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plan B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Plan B's Mike Mills got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the last second Ismael Negri throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mihăiţă Vergulescu in the 81stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Whitmore in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Negri saved Plan B from getting behind. Ismael Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihăiţă Vergulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Cristi Dinu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Udrea's late challenge caught a Plan B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olimpiu Udrea helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Plan B booed when -BZF- Ursus Magura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Udrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, -BZF- Ursus Magura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Udrea to maneuver through the defense. Ernst Rolf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Espen Lyngsby. -BZF- Ursus Magura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. -BZF- Ursus Magura's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
