During this time Chaponnay FC's players had a chance to rest. 9 minutes into the match, Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Moïse Girerd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaman Akar. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Boisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevan Brossier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Boisson in the 13th minute of play. Moïse Girerd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evan Le Moullec in the 25th minute of play. Kılıçalp Özpulat charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kılıçalp Özpulat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kılıçalp Özpulat kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Renaud Houzet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Chaniago, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as GreenUnited's Edward Chaniago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moïse Girerd. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. After 36 minutes, Edward Chaniago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GreenUnited and the Chaponnay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Chaniago hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in GreenUnited's zone, Evan Le Moullec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Torrico came out of the goal and Evan Le Moullec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Kevan Brossier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Boisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Max Stevens made the kick off in the second half. Edward Chaniago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Girerd having to interfere. Evan Le Moullec's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Sebastián Torrico skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 58th minute Joao Zuazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moïse Girerd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When GreenUnited's Max Stevens in 61 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Moïse Girerd guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 63rd minute, Renaud Houzet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Joao Zuazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GreenUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joao Zuazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moïse Girerd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Stevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevan Brossier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
