After some careless play in the AVAÍ F.C. defense, Gianluca Lapadula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson Teles. The AVAÍ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson Teles should have stopped the shot. Gianluca Lapadula took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Teles. Jailson Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Lapadula in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Teles saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. In the 13th minute, AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Shaw. Alexander Shaw yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Alexander Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Alegría in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, AC Papicho's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Alegría came free, but Alexander Shaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Dario Alegría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Gianluca Lapadula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Papicho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 26th minute Alex Sági shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, AC Papicho's Gianluca Lapadula made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Teles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexander Shaw made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Rubens Cabral sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Dario Alegría shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jailson Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Lapadula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Egun Lisundia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AVAÍ F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Papicho were winning 1-4.

AC Papicho's Rodolfo Mora was substituted for Egun Lisundia. The wind increased when Alex Sági made the kick off in the second half. Sergio Ojeda hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Manfredo Gerber made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Teodoro Magalhães immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Lapadula got free with Jailson Teles in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AVAÍ F.C.'s Jailson Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save AVAÍ F.C. from getting a goal against them. Alexander Shaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmyr Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Sági in the 65th minute of play. Dario Alegría kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. AC Papicho's 孟弘银 was substituted for Ulryk Huk. AVAÍ F.C.'s Luiz Pombal was substituted for Teodoro Magalhães. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dario Alegría hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Frasquito Abrego dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jailson Teles, 1-5. 92 minutes into the match, Walmyr Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Shaw. AC Papicho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Frasquito Abrego struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jailson Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Papicho. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Papicho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
