With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Eguzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, AC Papicho's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Alexander Shaw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Shaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Stehno in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. AC Papicho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Grøtterud ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máximo Kirchner in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Shaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Lapadula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Eguzki having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Stehno in the 26th minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Shaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Stehno, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alexander Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenni Skensved in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Martin Grøtterud went to the cornerflag to take it. Unidad de Matanza's Martin Grøtterud was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alexander Shaw in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alexander Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Stehno in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Egun Lisundia managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Papicho's supporters rose to their feet, but Egun Lisundia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Papicho made a substitution. Rodolfo Mora replaced Egun Lisundia. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 54 played minutes AC Papicho got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Kisiel. Ulryk Huk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonatan Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Lateef Raal replaced Máximo Kirchner. AC Papicho's Frasquito Abrego was substituted for Gianluca Lapadula. Nestor Bâru took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Shaw. Alexander Shaw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasquito Abrego in the 74th minute of play. Alexander Shaw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nestor Bâru went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. AC Papicho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nestor Bâru 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. In the 86thth minute of the game Nestor Bâru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Bâru in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Shaw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Unidad de Matanza played a much better game than AC Papicho and deserved their victory. The AC Papicho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
