The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tacheros OFF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Henrique Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Rodolfo Anaya, making the score, 1-0. AnÐaRaHy's Aírton Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan-Ove Tunander, made in the 9th minute of the game. Henrique Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Anaya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Anaya made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Henrique Almeida sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 13 in the game by Henrique Almeida from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Anaya managed to make a qualified save. Tacheros OFF's players were relieved. 20 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Almeida. AnÐaRaHy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vânderson Falcão in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, AnÐaRaHy's Henrique Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodolfo Anaya. Rodolfo Anaya yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Maurício Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Anaya having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, AnÐaRaHy's Henrique Almeida sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Anaya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 33 minutes Tacheros OFF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vânderson Falcão who took care of the corner kick. AnÐaRaHy's Vânderson Falcão was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodolfo Anaya in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, Christian Najarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros OFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tacheros OFF's Adolfo Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Najarro to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Almeida in the 55th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Almeida couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Maurício Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AnÐaRaHy's Noble Dodge got a free kick in the 76th minute. Christian Najarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bruno Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Vânderson Falcão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tacheros OFF's Rodolfo Anaya did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Almeida in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Anaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Ove Tunander made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Christian Najarro immediately put the ball in play. When Tacheros OFF's Mattin Solbeida in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AnÐaRaHy's goalie prevented a goal. Maurício Bittencourt scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Anaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
