The VN FC Spartak-Varna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Curtis should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Villalaz in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademar Cabral got free with Dadhyan Rudrappa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadhyan Rudrappa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Cabral. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Villalaz in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Curtis saved VN FC Spartak-Varna from getting behind. In the 20th minute Pedro Villalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VN FC Spartak-Varna's Hans Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Santos in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN FC Spartak-Varna's goalkeeper Hans Curtis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Villalaz scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Curtis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuele Neustadt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Villalazs short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Hans Curtis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 97 minutes, Andrés Mendieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORION F.C. and the VN FC Spartak-Varna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Andrés Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ORION F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
