After the first half Thunderstorm Riders were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koti Kot to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Kudret Tüzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linghed Angels FC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Resel in the 60th minute of play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Thunderstorm Riders. Thunderstorm Riders played a much better game than Linghed Angels FC and deserved their victory. The Linghed Angels FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
