In the 9th minute Olgierd Jazwiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Søren Malman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Jazwiec in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Kurd Thiemer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Søren Malman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgierd Jazwiec. In the 18th minute, Olgierd Jazwiec reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Søren Malman. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Victory F.C. defense, Olgierd Jazwiec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Søren Malman. The Victory F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Søren Malman should have stopped the shot. Kurd Thiemer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Marco Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Goito in the 25th minute of play forced Victory F.C.'s goalkeeper Søren Malman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman got control of the ball when Oscar Furlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Lauritsen kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Søren Malman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Jazwiec's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Oscar Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Oscar Furlan could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Søren Malman however easily saved by the left post. Marco Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurd Thiemer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kurd Thiemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Søren Malman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Jazwiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Olgierd Jazwiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Søren Malman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute Olgierd Jazwiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Victory F.C.'s Wes Benbow got a free kick in the 46th minute. Søren Malman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Jazwiec's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olgierd Jazwiec was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Jazwiec in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Søren Malman saved Victory F.C. from getting behind. Søren Malman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Goito in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Victory F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Furlan came free, but Søren Malman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Jazwiec in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Søren Malman saved Victory F.C. from getting behind. Rocky Balboa F.C. were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Victory F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olgierd Jazwiec took the corner. Olgierd Jazwiec made a great header on Rocky Balboa F.C.'s corner, it was just that Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olgierd Jazwiec in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Søren Malman saved Victory F.C. from getting behind. Kurd Thiemer came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marco Veto could save by the left post. After 65 minutes Rocky Balboa F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heino Rolander who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Victory F.C.'s corner Heino Rolander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Veto quite easily take care of the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Olgierd Jazwiec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victory F.C.'s Søren Malman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Olgierd Jazwiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Søren Malman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 73rd minute Olgierd Jazwiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Malman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Søren Malman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Victory F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Lauritsen to maneuver through the defense. Victory F.C. made a substitution. Ralf Leirup replaced Kurd Thiemer. After 78 played minutes Victory F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Lauritsen. 84 minutes into the match, Victory F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Furlan came free, but Søren Malman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmind Wrensted kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Asmind Wrensted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Søren Malman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Rosalio in the 91st minute of play. Søren Malman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Jazwiec in the 95th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Rosalio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Malman was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Victory F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rocky Balboa F.C..
