When Kjell-Arne Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tingara FC - DMZ's protests and gave Kjell-Arne Sandström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Tingara FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Sandström to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 董升夕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute of the match, Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zhuo Chao was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, Tingara FC - DMZ's Zhuo Chao threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorge Dias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Zhuo Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Dias in the 53rd minute of play. With his leg André de Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when ☢️ Jeringa Fc☢️'s Guaberto Urtsua fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guaberto Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André de Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Urtsua in the 63rd minute. Zhuo Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederic Humbelets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André de Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guaberto Urtsua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. Tingara FC - DMZ's André de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tingara FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Urtsua got free with André de Sousa in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Without hesitation aimed to the right of André de Sousa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zhuo Chao came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Tingara FC - DMZ's Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Carlos Eduardo Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Urtsua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André de Sousa was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
