The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kogimyae JK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp got control of the ball when Aurel Pandrea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steaua Bucuresti were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Kogimyae JK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iulian Ciuvică took the corner. After 13 minutes, Kalju Onkel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the Steaua Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kalju Onkel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Mihkel Urm came free, but Radu Isaicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihkel Urm in the 17th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti's goalkeeper Radu Isaicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ott Vene was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kogimyae JK! Aurel Pandrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tavo Potisepp made a huge save. Harri Kalev hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Kogimyae JK from getting a goal against them. Kalju Onkel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Iulian Ciuvică from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Tavo Potisepp's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 3-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Gheorghe Cunea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tavo Potisepp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Drumeș in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gheorghe Cunea made the kick off in the second half. Vambola Vanaliin's late challenge caught a Steaua Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vambola Vanaliin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Kogimyae JK getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Vambola Vanaliin hit a great ball. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Pandrea in the 52nd minute of play. Tavo Potisepp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Iosif in the 55th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Felix Iosif put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tavo Potisepp. Tavo Potisepp came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti's Ionuț Drumeș. But to his dismay, Ionuț Drumeș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Ionuț Drumeș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tavo Potisepp was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 66 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Aurel Pandrea made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tavo Potisepp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute of the match Marcu Şerbănoiu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tavo Potisepp skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute, Felix Iosif made a precise shot to the right of Tavo Potisepp. Kogimyae JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Tavo Potisepp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Drumeș, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Cunea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Tavo Potisepp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kogimyae JK's Tavo Potisepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Pandrea in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Cunea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tavo Potisepp. Kogimyae JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Cunea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Tavo Potisepp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Drumeș went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Steaua Bucuresti's Ionuț Drumeș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tavo Potisepp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Gheorghe Cunea got a free kick in the 95th minute. Steaua Bucuresti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
