CA Portugália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Senna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heiner Studer. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. In the 8th minute Thiago Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1. FC Union Weberei's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernandinho Barral was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Portugália's players had a chance to rest. CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Heiner Studer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 1. FC Union Weberei's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Thiago Senna scored to the left of an out of position Heiner Studer, making the score, 2-0. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Heiner Studer made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Thiago Senna sent off a good shot on target. When Erik Hertzog came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the 1. FC Union Weberei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Hertzog couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, CA Portugália's Thiago Senna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Heiner Studer. Heiner Studer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 31st match minute, 1. FC Union Weberei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lindo Kran to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Fernandinho Barral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heiner Studer skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute, Nino Forster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Thiago Senna came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CA Portugália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago Senna couldn't finish the play. In the 36thth minute of the game Thiago Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute of the match CA Portugália got a corner. 1. FC Union Weberei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernandinho Barral ran over to the corner to take the kick. CA Portugália's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernandinho Barral in the 38th minute. Fernandinho Barral made a great header on CA Portugália's corner, it was just that 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiner Studer having to make a save. Rogério Soberano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Gruenewald in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Senna was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiner Studer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thiago Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Senna in the 50th minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, CA Portugália's Thiago Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heiner Studer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Nico Gruenewald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Soberano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Maurice Weber made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Pierucci immediately put the ball in play. Thiago Senna scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heiner Studer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CA Portugália made a substitution. Barry Gunn replaced Thiago Senna. Nico Gruenewald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CA Portugália's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Gruenewald in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimir Wickihalter. Barry Gunn took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heiner Studer. Heiner Studer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Carlos Fernando dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Erik Hertzog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry Gunn in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiner Studer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Portugália had won after a very even match.
