An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimir Wickihalter in the 3rd minute of play forced KP Karmel's goalkeeper Jacek Fleszar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of 1. FC Union Weberei booed when KP Karmel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Konopka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Hertzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jacek Fleszar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Gruenewald in the 10th minute of the match. Stasio Wiater fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heiner Studer having to interfere. In the 20th minute Erik Hertzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1. FC Union Weberei's Erik Hertzog got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacek Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimir Wickihalter in the 24th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Maciej Pietrowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jacek Fleszar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owain Wollenmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacek Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Gruenewald, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Maciej Pietrowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Heiner Studer made a huge save. Stasio Wiater in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Heiner Studer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Nino Forster got a free kick in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Stasio Wiater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KP Karmel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Wiater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Hertzog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, KP Karmel's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Hertzog came free, but Jacek Fleszar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heiner Studer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kloczko, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes KP Karmel got a freekick which was hit by Boleslaw Pahucki. When Maciej Pietrowski fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KP Karmel's protests and gave Maciej Pietrowski a yellow card for diving instead. KP Karmel's Jacek Fleszar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hertzog in the 62nd minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, KP Karmel's Maciej Pietrowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heiner Studer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stasio Wiater in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiner Studer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rdth minute of the game Stasio Wiater who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Erik Hertzog fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Felix Pierucci's late challenge caught a KP Karmel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Pierucci helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 1. FC Union Weberei getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Felix Pierucci hit a great ball. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Wiater in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KP Karmel's Miromir Solak got a free kick in the 80th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stasio Wiater in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiner Studer saved 1. FC Union Weberei from getting behind. When KP Karmel's Stasio Wiater in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1. FC Union Weberei had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
