An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Bianco in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Mateo Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Borgatello in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Pedraza saved Costa Pacífico FC from getting behind. A collision led to Costa Pacífico FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Frank Rijkaard hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Bianco in the 68th minute of play forced Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Mateo Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Pedraza made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Carlo Borgatello sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Federico Bianco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Pedraza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mateo Pedraza was a little too slow when Dinç Dede got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-3. Dinç Dede might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Pedraza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinç Dede ran back to his position shaking his head. The Costa Pacífico FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FC Aquile Azzurre to win.
