In the 8th minute of the match Auktsjaur IF got a corner. Vodka Stars 1949's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Neto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vodka Stars 1949's goalie and right to Casper Wennerqvist. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vodka Stars 1949's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 12 minutes into the match, Erik Véber notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Auktsjaur IF's Julian Borcz. Julian Borcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Paul Geeraerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Borcz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nevada Lopez de Toro in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Vodka Stars 1949's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Zhen Liang came free, but Generoso Beloki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Frodyma struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Generoso Beloki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auktsjaur IF. In the 24th minute Paul Geeraerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Beloki was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Patryk Frodyma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patryk Frodyma really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Patryk Frodyma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Beloki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Nevada Lopez de Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nevada Lopez de Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julian Borcz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Geeraerts in the 39th minute of play forced Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Julian Borcz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Paul Geeraerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Paul Geeraerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Borcz. Auktsjaur IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Geeraerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Auktsjaur IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vodka Stars 1949 were winning 1-3.

If Shi Zhen Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Véber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Generoso Beloki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Frodyma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Geeraerts got free with Julian Borcz in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patryk Frodyma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Beloki having to make a save. Vodka Stars 1949 made a substitution. Casado Castan replaced Txema Cifuentes. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Frodyma in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Curcio Alonso got a free kick in the 74th minute. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Frodyma in the 77th minute of play. Nevada Lopez de Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Julian Borcz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Alonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patryk Frodyma in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luis Neto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Auktsjaur IF's corner Luis Neto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Generoso Beloki quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Vodka Stars 1949 defense, Patryk Frodyma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Generoso Beloki. The Vodka Stars 1949 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Generoso Beloki should have stopped the shot. Jan-Åke Hedström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Beloki having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vodka Stars 1949 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
