Despite this Karl-Åke Brummer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Torino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Claus came free, but Tomás Bonifaco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Holger Häfeli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Bonifaco skillfully saved the ball. If Guillermo Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Jaunzuria. Torino FC's Tomás Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Claus in the 21st minute of play. Roque Claus struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tomás Bonifaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanzenkirchen. Tomás Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanzenkirchen's Karl-Åke Brummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Hermann Spieler in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Hans-Hermann Spieler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Hermann Spieler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Åke Brummer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lanzenkirchen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Holger Häfeli in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes Lanzenkirchen got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Knebel. In the 36th minute, Niclas Knebel fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Tomás Bonifaco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Claus in the 39th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Hermann Spieler in the 52nd minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Brummer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lanzenkirchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Åke Brummer should have stopped the shot. Lanzenkirchen made a substitution. Roland Freytag replaced Lasse Tilemann. After 79 minutes of play, Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Åke Brummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octav Bocșan made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jakub Kornaszewski however managed to control. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torino FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Torino FC's Hans-Hermann Spieler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Åke Brummer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.
