With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grzegorz Ikalewicz saved Sandecja from getting behind. Gottlieb Hammer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Grzegorz Ikalewicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Soter in the 9th minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balus Treter's attentive Fabio Bischoff managed to snatch the ball when Ludomil Maurycy made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gottlieb Hammer sped through Sandecja's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grzegorz Ikalewicz. Balus Treter's Vilhelm Trulsson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Cichocki came free, but Karsten Zielinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Sandecja got a corner. Balus Treter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iwan Kluczyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sandecja's corner Iwan Kluczyk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karsten Zielinski quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottlieb Hammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ntinos Karsiotis succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Grzegorz Ikalewicz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gottlieb Hammer sent off a good shot on target. Sandecja's Grzegorz Ikalewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Sandecja from getting a goal against them. Ludomil Maurycy kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Balus Treter booed when Sandecja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludomil Maurycy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Gottlieb Hammer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sandecja's Grzegorz Ikalewicz. Grzegorz Ikalewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gottlieb Hammer made a kick off.
