Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Rocha in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meng Yan Jing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fábio Rocha in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meng Yan Jing saved Abandon All Hope from getting behind. Luís Fábio Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Abandon All Hope defense, Luís Fábio Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meng Yan Jing. The Abandon All Hope fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meng Yan Jing should have stopped the shot. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Luís Fábio Rocha sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Luís Fábio Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing got control of the ball when Luís Fábio Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Meng Yan Jing was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fábio Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Hu Xiong Zhen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Abandon All Hope from getting a goal against them. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 36th minute of the match. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fábio Rocha to make the kick off. Meng Yan Jing came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones. But to his dismay, Indiana Jones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Luís Fábio Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Meng Yan Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meng Yan Jing having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Rocha in the 56th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 59 minutes, Dedê de Castro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abandon All Hope and the Los Hijos de Doña Beija players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Dedê de Castro. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Albino Brion was substituted for Luís Fábio Rocha. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Jyrki Sillanpää replaced Indiana Jones. In the 61st minute, Dedê de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Jyrki Sillanpää left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 74th minute, Andrea Pirlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Argi Casta in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Argi Casta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing did a great save. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Gilbert Gorzkiewicz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Roland Schiavi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Roland Schiavi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argi Casta in the 84th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Yan Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Haritzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ye Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michal Arendarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Los Hijos de Doña Beija were the better team. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
