Demy Ottens was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Hijos de Doña Beija's players had a chance to rest. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Higinio Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Gainzarain in the 21st minute of play. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Haritzeder in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jyrki Sillanpää in the 57th minute of play forced Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Lohitzun Reigosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Indiana Jones ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lohitzun Reigosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lohitzun Reigosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Sillanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Brion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jyrki Sillanpää in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lohitzun Reigosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Los Hijos de Doña Beija were awarded a corner. Feliciano Haritzeder went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Feliciano Haritzeder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lohitzun Reigosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los Hijos de Doña Beija had played much better football throughout.
