After having played for 54 minutes, Sandro Urquiza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicente Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Urquiza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Laba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Edvin Lindkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 59 minute of play. Marian Laba made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gustav Ahlrot sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Nilsson got free with Marian Laba in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magne Pihlberg took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Laba. Marian Laba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 84 minutes into the match, Alexander Nilsson notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Vicente Leon's Marian Laba. Marian Laba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Vicente Leon's Diego Balmaceda got a free kick in the 89th minute. Marian Laba was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Alexander Nilsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
