The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, São Wilson's Silvinho Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermínio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson in the 4th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Nicolas Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Hermínio Maciel got a free kick in the 8th minute. São Wilson's Enrique Garcia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolas Cardozo but with some difficulty. A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jörg Michael hit a great ball. Shi Feng Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Marques in the 10th minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir do Valle in the 11th minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvinho Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Cardozo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Enrique Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Wilson's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shi Feng Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Falcão Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a corner. São Wilson's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gil dos Santos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hermínio Maciel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun did a great save. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hermínio Maciel put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Shi Feng Yun. The audience was convinced that Gil dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shi Feng Yun was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir do Valle got free with Nicolas Cardozo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Cardozo was a little too slow when Almir do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. Nicolas Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Moraes in the 37th minute of play. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil dos Santos in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in São Wilson's zone, Gil dos Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shi Feng Yun came out of the goal and Gil dos Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Marques in the 42nd minute of play. Nicolas Cardozo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Almir do Valle in the 44th minute. 44 minutes into the game, São Wilson's Almir do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Cardozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Vianna in the 47th minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Tiaguinho Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Vianna came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Faria's late challenge caught a São Wilson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Faria helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Tiaguinho Faria got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Moraes came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. São Wilson's Shi Feng Yun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save São Wilson from getting a goal against them. Silvinho Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. São Wilson's Reynaldo Arce was substituted for João Paulo Antunes. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Adalberto Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Vianna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shi Feng Yun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Almir do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the São Wilson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almir do Valle couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Maciel. Almir do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson came free, but Nicolas Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. São Wilson's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Garcia in the 86th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie and right to Almir do Valle. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Almir do Valle scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Cardozo. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
