After 3 played minutes Tapa Red F.C got a freekick which was hit by Celipe Zamarripa. Faustão Abraão made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Firmo Cerda would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Basarab Panciu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Firmo Cerda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aras Görkem Korcan hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Tapa Red F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bizen Velazquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Marin Dică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Tapa Red F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celipe Zamarripa to maneuver through the defense. Firmo Cerda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Abraão in the 25th minute. Tapa Red F.C's John Villalon got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Marin Dică recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Firmo Cerda. Marin Dică showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's Marin Dică sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Firmo Cerda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandria Team08's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albano Sergi in the 41st minute. A nice corner shot did that Albano Sergi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Firmo Cerda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Firmo Cerda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Abraão in the 43rd minute. Tapa Red F.C's Firmo Cerda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Tapa Red F.C from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Marin Dică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Firmo Cerda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustaf Svanér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Firmo Cerda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Svanér, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandria Team08's Péter Bánhegyi was substituted for Marin Dică. Caradaro Rossell kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Péter Bánhegyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapa Red F.C's Firmo Cerda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Zhou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Firmo Cerda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute John Villalon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Péter Bánhegyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Firmo Cerda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firmo Cerda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Péter Bánhegyi's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Tapa Red F.C's Hong Zhen Hui got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Albano Sergi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Firmo Cerda skillfully saved the ball. Alexandria Team08's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
