After a rather tough play, LFS Sapphire Club's Stanislaw Piwowarski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauno Koba in the 3rd minute of play. Vila's Ibon Morcego suffered a concussion in the 4th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Vila's Janar Haas was substituted for Ibon Morcego. In the 6th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Cerocki to maneuver through the defense. Vila's Durvalino Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltasar Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rauno Koba in the 13th minute of play. Kristjan Jaani scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Aznaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eduard Saamatu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila's protests and gave Eduard Saamatu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vila's Eduard Saamatu got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Rauno Koba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Cerocki in the 27th minute of the match. Koit Vaikma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Hatman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Rauno Koba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Aznaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Vila's goalkeeper Koit Vaikma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witalis Tamulewicz. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Witalis Tamulewicz took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Koit Vaikma to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th match minute, LFS Sapphire Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Cerocki to maneuver through the defense. When Witalis Tamulewicz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LFS Sapphire Club's protests and gave Witalis Tamulewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vila booed when LFS Sapphire Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Tamulewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Durvalino Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauno Koba, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Olari Kabral made a great header on Vila's corner, it was just that LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro managed to reach the ball for a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dido Gorolomov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltasar Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dido Gorolomov's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Dido Gorolomov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dido Gorolomov got free with Baltasar Aznaro in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltasar Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Oher in the 82nd minute of play. Vila's Dido Gorolomov got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Georg Oher hit a great ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Dido Gorolomov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LFS Sapphire Club's Baltasar Aznaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Vila's Dido Gorolomov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltasar Aznaro. Baltasar Aznaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Vila left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LFS Sapphire Club.
