Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) Rauno Koba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Tomáš Požgaj notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vila's Koit Vaikma. Koit Vaikma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauno Koba in the 5th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Rauno Koba. In the 11th minute, Tomáš Požgaj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koit Vaikma was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Koit Vaikma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Bališ, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Okoyomon Charles Bukowski. 18 minutes into the match, Vila's Olari Kabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Štefan Semeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Adam Obert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Georg Oher. Georg Oher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Štefan Semeno made a huge save. Koit Vaikma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bališ in the 29th minute of the match. Balázs Borbély blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Koit Vaikma having to make a save. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rauno Koba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomáš Požgaj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yin Nan Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Požgaj to make the kick off. Koit Vaikma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Hudák in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Zedník to maneuver through the defense. AFK Petržalka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
