The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Sârban in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Vallengren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamit Beycan in the 10th minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Joel Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Wawro made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Stefano Lilipaly sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Rega Merida CF's zone, Charlie Bjurström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstanty Wawro came out of the goal and Charlie Bjurström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Sârban came free, but Joel Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rega Merida CF's Ryan Gravenhorst got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ersen Durmus kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Sârban, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Joel Vallengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Vallengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rega Merida CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karol Swiderski in the 33rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DFP's goalie and right to Abdulhamit Beycan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DFP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Charlie Bjurström might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstanty Wawro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Bjurström ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 38th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Wawro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefano Lilipaly in the 38th minute. Stefano Lilipaly came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstanty Wawro could save by the left post. Lech Matela kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Bjurström to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Vallengren. Joel Vallengren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When Charlie Bjurström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the DFP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Bjurström couldn't finish the play. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Inge Åkesson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DFP's Alex Nordin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Konrad Knopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Knopek in the 77th minute of play. Charlie Bjurström might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Konstanty Wawro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The throw-in from Yaroslav Svitlychnyi in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DFP's Alex Nordin. Alex Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Knopek in the 90th minute of play. After 91 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Birger Söderqwist. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Birger Söderqwist hit a great ball. Rega Merida CF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
