Peñaloza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robin Palmquist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Willy Herzog made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Julian Blasi sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute of the match, Simon Oihan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willy Herzog saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zarco Figueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Dalström's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's Evelio Dacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willy Herzog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stellan Lund during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zarco Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khamzat Chimaev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Julian Blasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tunge Titans's Henry Dalström in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peñaloza's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Peñaloza booed when Tunge Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilian Thuram didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Estavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Willy Herzog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willy Herzog made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Julian Blasi sent off a good shot on target. Peñaloza were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Tunge Titans's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Castro took the corner. Peñaloza's Eduardo Castro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willy Herzog in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Lund in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zarco Figueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Dalström came free, but Zarco Figueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Simon Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julian Blasi made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Zarco Figueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Dalström in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarco Figueira saved Peñaloza from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, Henry Dalström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunge Titans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peñaloza the free kick. After 66 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Henry Dalström. 69 minutes into the match, Henry Dalström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zarco Figueira, 2-1. After 72 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Lilian Thuram. Tunge Titans made a substitution. Richard Olofsson replaced Stellan Lund. In the 73rd match minute, Tunge Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lilian Thuram to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Blasi in the 77th minute of play forced Tunge Titans's goalkeeper Willy Herzog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tunge Titans's Richard Olofsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Zarco Figueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khamzat Chimaev in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Tunge Titans booed when Peñaloza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Estavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peñaloza's zone, Henry Dalström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zarco Figueira came out of the goal and Henry Dalström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes Peñaloza got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Jaen. Zarco Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Dalström in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khamzat Chimaev got free with Zarco Figueira in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Estavan hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tunge Titans players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peñaloza.
