But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilen Villanueva couldn't finish the play. Peñaloza's Zarco Figueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Dalmu in the 23rd minute of play. Peñaloza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Edgard Dalmu scored to the left of an out of position Zarco Figueira, making the score, 3-1. A hard shot 47 in the game by Edgard Dalmu from a close distance when the talented Zarco Figueira managed to make a qualified save. Peñaloza's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 85 played minutes Sant Bartolomeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilen Villanueva. Sant Bartolomeu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peñaloza for a fine match.
