The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Doriva Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Dário Tepedino. Barreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Barreal FC defense, Doriva Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Tepedino. The Barreal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Tepedino should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Doriva Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Tepedino. Barreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, Doriva Sousa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino. Dário Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Guang Chen got free with Jósef Wandzik in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Doriva Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doriva Sousa in the 22nd minute of play. Yu Guang Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jósef Wandzik made a huge save. Jósef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Yu Guang Chen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jósef Wandzik was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Doriva Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Tepedino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Yu Guang Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jósef Wandzik made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ben-Ami Gol was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Barreal FC got a freekick which was hit by Ben-Ami Gol. 55 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dário Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Doriva Sousa took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Dário Tepedino to make any attempt to save it. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dário Tepedino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Sousa in the 67th minute. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Ingvar Mogren got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ingvar Mogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jósef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Jósef Wandzik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Rocheleau in the 80th minute of play forced Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Henri-Patrick Grocholski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Tepedino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match Ghost Hunters got a corner. Barreal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Åke Melander ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ghost Hunters's Ingvar Mogren to fire away a dangerous shot which Dário Tepedino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ingvar Mogren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Dário Tepedino 85 minutes into the match. Barreal FC's Joel Oalo was substituted for Sebastian Sayvion. After having played for 91 minutes, Jakob Bogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ghost Hunters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakob Bogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakob Bogrens short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Dário Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
