Stefan Bogren started the match with the kick off. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Grzegorz Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kristoffer Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Bogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Isaltino Durr made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Godoi in the 9th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Sävedalen's Gino de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sävedalen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommy Butcher in the 14th minute. After 17 played minutes Lidköping got a freekick which was hit by Expedito Doctore. In the 24th minute, Allan Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Concetto Fata's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Isaltino Durr firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Lidköping defense, Grzegorz Gdaniec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Västerstrand. The Lidköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Västerstrand should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Expedito Doctore in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sävedalen's Per Mårtensson. After 41 played minutes Lidköping got a freekick which was hit by Leo Olsson. Kristoffer Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Gdaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Gdaniec to strike the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Gdaniec's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Västerstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Björk in the 57th minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Isaltino Durr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr. Isaltino Durr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sävedalen's Junior Junior was substituted for Grzegorz Gdaniec. 67 minutes into the game, Stefan Bogren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Isaltino Durr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Godoi in the 70th minute of play forced Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sävedalen were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Lidköping's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Butcher took the corner. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 85th minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Isaltino Durr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lidköping were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Sävedalen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Concetto Fata took the corner. Junior Junior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Västerstrand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Lidköping were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
