The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Hoya to strike the kick off in the second half. If Carolo Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vormsi Vald's Toomas Lasso was substituted for Villem Ärsis. When Taavi Halliste fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vormsi Vald's protests and gave Taavi Halliste a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Vormsi Vald made a substitution. Sven Viilma replaced Mattias Vennerberg. After 96 minutes Vormsi Vald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
