Jeronimo Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gianluca Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Proença in the 26th minute of play. Prospero Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Proença came free, but Prospero Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Shepherd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Proença went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Baltasar Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Eriberto Lizer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nevşehirspor's Gianluca Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Proença in the 45th minute of the match. Gianluca Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Nevşehirspor's Ragnar Åberg was substituted for Cipriano Proença. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Gartxot to strike the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nevşehirspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
