Leopoldo Lastur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irfan Arnawa in the 11th minute of the match. Chico Sanches's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Sanches helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leones FC booed when São Miguel do Oeste.SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Dante Mannie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Marz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Irfan Arnawa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irfan Arnawa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irfan Arnawa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Gustavo Scarpa made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Lastur. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alejo Louis made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by São Miguel do Oeste.SC's Khairil Lum. Gustavo Scarpa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Lastur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Alejo Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Gustavo Scarpa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Leopoldo Lastur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Bizi in the 45th minute of play forced São Miguel do Oeste.SC's goalkeeper Honorato Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Scarpa came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Calvino charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Khairil Lum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 0-4 in the 85 minute of play. After 89 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Asier. Alejo Louis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Khairil Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Leopoldo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Marz having to interfere. When the match was over São Miguel do Oeste.SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Leones FC throughout the match.
