In the 12thth minute of the game Jorrin Briones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when Rapsodas Red Devils FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Camus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorrin Briones in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Prestes saved The Cavern Club from getting behind. In the 18th minute The Cavern Club were awarded a corner. Alberigo Prosperi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Asaf Durcan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli did a great save. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Asaf Durcan scored to the left of an out of position Ferenc Tököli, making the score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Jorrin Briones notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jorrin Briones came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorrin Briones couldn't finish the play. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Albert Camus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ramon Piarres in the 37 minute of the game. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Prosperi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Ramon Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberigo Prosperi to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorrin Briones struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Vladimir Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapsodas Red Devils FC. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Herminio Miera replaced Eskil Julin. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Vladimir Prestes made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jerrold Taranco sent off a good shot on target. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Cavern Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rapsodas Red Devils FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
