The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jorrin Briones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 17 minutes meteora 1929's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Schwarzfischer who took care of the corner kick. Soulis Vamvakousis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorrin Briones went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jorrin Briones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soulis Vamvakousis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorrin Briones in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soulis Vamvakousis saved meteora 1929 from getting behind. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Dean Bittner with Prodromos Kabourakis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Fragou in the 33rd minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Fragou, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, meteora 1929's Nikos Sarkanis got a free kick in the 34th minute. Soulis Vamvakousis was a little too slow when Jorrin Briones got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 5-0. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Fragou in the 40th minute of play. Dean Bittner made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Leonardo Colmenares. In the 47th minute, Jorrin Briones reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Soulis Vamvakousis. The goal made the score 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chatziantoniou Xanthos made a kick off. If Jorrin Briones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. meteora 1929's Soulis Vamvakousis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Briones in the 54th minute of play. Soulis Vamvakousis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 77th minute of the match. Herminio Miera made a great header on Rapsodas Red Devils FC's corner, it was just that meteora 1929's Soulis Vamvakousis managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristiano Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Salah in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Soulis Vamvakousis saved meteora 1929 from getting behind. After 94 played minutes meteora 1929 got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Kabourakis. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when meteora 1929 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Anatolakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soulis Vamvakousis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the meteora 1929 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rapsodas Red Devils FC.
