The supporters of Eureka booed when Bandeca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Castilho in the 7th minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute of the match, Laureano Portugal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guaberto Gamus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute, Quintino Lobo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Gamus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Rui Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Sordo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Portugal in the 17th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Castilho in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentim Castilho came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bandeca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quintino Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 56 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Barroso came free, but Guaberto Gamus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play Bandeca FC's Flávio Arósio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Flávio Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Fernando Banders replaced Tiago Ortiz. Quintino Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Gamus having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Cearense. In the 73rd minute Laureano Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eureka's Luís Barroso got a free kick in the 75th minute. Guaberto Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Valadão in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Oscar Silveira hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Valentim Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
