Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Fecha Libre got a corner. Ad Fundum's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavino Hodei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tran Vrolijcx in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tran Vrolijcx in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Martínez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Paschiers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Martins Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Manfred Bruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Pierre-Paul Van Dijck threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fecha Libre's Amador Kelemen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kandemir Ülkü in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ad Fundum booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Pollák didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ad Fundum's Kamiel Ingelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igli Tare in the 71st minute of play. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tran Vrolijcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Igli Tare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kamiel Ingelborgh. Ad Fundum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igli Tare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Ad Fundum supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ad Fundum would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
