Clem Fath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Quinten in the 2nd minute of play. After 7 minutes, Erwann Patrice made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arquímedes Cesario in the 14th minute of the match. Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Cosa nostra Lyon got a freekick which was hit by 高川永. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Atilano Quinten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clem Fath was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Erwann Patrice lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Matías Patrone. A collision led to Los Delfines getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Honorio Eder hit a great ball. Matías Patrone was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tim Ménet. Los Delfines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Junior Quintana scored to the left of an out of position Matías Patrone, making the score, 3-0. With an all-out effort, Cosa nostra Lyon's Matías Patrone threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Junior Quintana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Clem Fath came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Delfines's Atilano Quinten. But to his dismay, Atilano Quinten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a little luck, Los Delfines's Matías Patrone got control of the ball when Erwann Patrice tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Delfines's Matías Patrone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Los Delfines from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes, Los Delfines's Tomáš Kožený shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clem Fath came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Delfines reached it. Atilano Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Clem Fath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilano Quinten to make the kick off. Oscar Orzaize's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clem Fath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Quintana in the 53rd minute of play. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Félicien Boidin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Patrone having to interfere. Los Delfines's Saverio Regis was substituted for Atilano Quinten. Los Delfines made a substitution. Lucas Urbez replaced Arquímedes Cesario. In the 62nd minute, Los Delfines's Lucas Urbez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clem Fath. Clem Fath yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. The attack was good, but when Félicien Boidin in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Urbez got free with Clem Fath in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Delfines's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Urbez in the 70th minute. Lucas Urbez made a great header on Los Delfines's corner, it was just that Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath managed to reach the ball for a save. Clem Fath was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Urbez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 74 minute of play. Clem Fath was a little too slow when Lucas Urbez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 3-4. In the 87th minute, Saverio Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Møltov during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cosa nostra Lyon booed when Los Delfines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Møltov didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lucas Urbez came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Los Delfines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Urbez couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Delfines walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
